Sindh holds some of Pakistan’s deepest historical layers. Mohenjo-daro reveals one of the world’s great early urban civilisations; Thatta and Makli preserve the architecture of later dynasties; and Sufi centres continue to draw communities through poetry, music and devotion.

The cooler season is best for archaeological sites, city walks and longer road journeys across Sindh. Routes are planned around distances, site opening times, local events and respectful access to shrines and communities.
Sindh combines particularly well with South Punjab for a deeper journey through the Indus, Sufi traditions and the civilisations of southern Pakistan.
