Follow the route day by day.

Each day marker shows its focus. The route line is indicative and roads are confirmed locally.

1. Day 1 · Arrival in Islamabad — Arrival transfer, documentation review, route briefing and preparation.
2. Day 2 · Islamabad to Naran — Motorcycle fitting and safety checks before riding through Hazara and the Kaghan Valley.
3. Day 3 · Naran to Chilas via Babusar Pass — Cross Babusar Pass when open. If closed, the route is adjusted through Besham and the Indus corridor.
4. Day 4 · Chilas to Skardu — Follow the Indus into Baltistan on one of the expedition’s most dramatic sectors.
5. Day 5 · Skardu and Shigar loop — Ride through the Skardu Valley to Shigar, combining cultural stops with a shorter recovery day.
6. Day 6 · Skardu to Gilgit — Return along the Indus toward Gilgit with stops selected according to traffic, road works and daylight.
7. Day 7 · Gilgit to Karimabad — Ride beneath Rakaposhi into central Hunza with Silk Road and mountain viewpoints.
8. Day 8 · Hunza and Nagar riding day — A flexible loop links historic forts, villages, Nagar and selected glacier viewpoints.
9. Day 9 · Karimabad to Passu and Gojal — Cross the Attabad tunnels and continue into Gojal for village walks and Passu views.
10. Day 10 · Khunjerab Pass return ride — Ride to the Pakistan–China frontier at 4,693 metres when conditions and official access allow.
11. Day 11 · Gojal to Gilgit — Return south with carefully chosen cultural and photography stops.
12. Day 12 · Gilgit to Besham — A substantial ride through the Indus gorge requiring disciplined pace and daylight management.
13. Day 13 · Besham to Islamabad — Complete the overland circuit and return the motorcycles after final checks.
14. Day 14 · Departure — Departure transfer or a separately arranged extension.
